G2G was born by popular demand by wine drinking mates that wanted an enjoyable every day sound drinking wine with great flavours to accompany the evening meal.
G2G basically means “Good 2 Go”. It’s great to take one to a dinner invitation, and even better shared with good friends and good food.
The CCM (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot), GSM (Grenache, Shiraz, Mouvedre ), CMPV (Cabernet, Merlot, Petit Verdot) are all winemaker favourite's. With the exception of Petit Verdot, these classic blends are all made with grapes grown on the Estate. Petit Verdot is grown on our Waikerie vineyard.
Varieties
2014 Cabernet Merlot Petit Verdot
A new blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and our Petit Verdot from Waikerie. Similar to our CCM this wine is fruit driven, rich and chocolatey with a twist of spice from the Petit. The tannins linger on the palate making this wine an ideal accompaniment to our family gourmet BBQ's.
2015 Grenache, Shiraz, Mouvedre
This wine offers the classic savoury tones of grenache, layered with black currant spice of McLaren Vale shiraz,with a beautiful soft finish of mouvedre.
An excellent accompaniment to Asian inspired dishes.
2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot
This classic ‘Bordeaux blend’ has rich red berry fruit flavours with spicy tannins on the finish.
With its inky red colour and intense aromas of blackcurrant and green capsicum, an attribute of varietal cabernet, this mouth-filling fruit exudes berry spice, creamy vanillan oak and long soft tannins, finishing full and firm.
